Key responsibilities of this position include:

  •  Build and terminate wiring harnesses to a high quality and repetitious manor for aircraftinstallation.
  • Perform a variety of aviation electrical and fabrication processes to include but not limited to wiremarking, soldering, crimping, connector termination and assembly.
  • Perform electrical wiring modifications to equipment removed from aircraft.
  • Routes and ties wires to form wire harness (cable) used in electrical and electronic equipment or systems
  • Explain assembly procedures or techniques to co-workers.
  • Inspect and/test wiring installations, assemblies or circuits for resistance factors.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Researching manuals for proper tooling and parts with fanatical attention to detail on applicability
  • Ensure parts are ordered, expedited and shipped to facility in a timely and budget conscious manner
  • Ensure all manufacturer and vendor parts cores are tracked and returned in expeditious manner to avoid fees
  • Accountable for unused parts and excessive inventory
  • Communicate with purchasing agents to verify all pertinent information needed is accurate to ensure all parts arrive on time to help prevent delays
  • Responsible for coordinating quality control of quarantine parts and scrap parts
  • Responsible to research open work order reports for customer
  • Post accurate and appropriate handling fees to customer work orders
  • Consults with department heads to resolve errors in accounts
  • Provide customer service support to the local Operations Managers, Quality Assurance, and Global Product Support Manager
  • Responsible for coordinating with supply chain on large kitting projects like the Challenger 604 project, Nextant 400XTi project, and Proline 4 to Proline 21
  • Consult with Planning to create sales quotes and work order quotes
